Rebecca's preschool this week did a segment on City and Country. I got to be a chaperon (am I that old). The class went to a farm to check out country life. A whole 2 minute drive later we were at the farm. The whole experience was put together really well.
Sydney, Gentry, and Rebecca (my group of girls)
Feeding and petting the chickens
Feeding and petting the goats.
Getting the carrots to feed the horse and donkey.
Feeding the donkey.
Rebecca riding a Rosie the horse.
It was a fun outing. They had a dog, Jesse, that just didn't understand why the goats and chickens were in the same pen. The kids got to see were the chickens laid their eggs and got to touch a freshly laid egg. They also got the feed and pet some sheep. Everyone had fun we just had to keep the kids from standing behind the horse.

What fun!!! Hopefully my kids will be in that preschool next year also. Sounds like a great trip.
I love being a chaperone - field trips are so fun :)
